Whenever anything goes wrong in our lives, we feel unbalanced or out of control.  Whether it’s about our weight, job or love-life we struggle to get back on track as we lose our ability to be positive and happy that helps to give us the strength to tackle these things.  We can often find ourselves turning to more unhelpful things that sabotage us and make matters worse like comfort eating, drinking or smoking too much, spending money, gambling, isolating ourselves.  This level of unhappiness can come in many forms from the light-hearted to the severe but if we can manage to get back into a positive state of mind then we can begin to deal with most issues in our lives.  I know because I have been there myself.
